Product details
Collagen is the most abundant protein in mammals and is a key structural component of several tissues. collagen I is the most common collagen in tissues and organs and is abundant in skin, tendons and bones. Type I collagen is the main structural component of the extracellular matrix of multicellular organisms. It consists of three collagen polypeptide chains alternating with glycine-proline-hydroxyproline to form a triple helix structure, which can promote cell adhesion, proliferation, specific morphological and functional expression, and is often used in the culture of primary cells such as epithelial cells, hepatocytes, and muscle cells.
