Product details

Cell culture dishes are the best choice for direct and convenient cell processing. Cell culture dishes are available in four sizes: 35mm, 60mm, 100mm, 150mm, and both TC-treated and No-treated surfaces. The cell culture dish has a wavy easy grip ring to ensure safety when handling the dish or cells. A ring on the inside of the petri dish lid prevents liquid from spilling. Combined with excellent, stable stacking performance, our cell culture dishes are unmatched in terms of transfer and handling, safety and ease of use. Four bumps in the inner ring of the lid ensure adequate gas exchange.

  • The gripping ring design is easy to grip when wearing gloves, ensuring that the culture dish cover will not move during processing, thus reducing the risk of contamination.
  • The outer edge of the culture dish cap is slightly convex to ensure stable stacking.
  • The notched design of the dish cap ensures both sterility and air ventilation.
  • The positioning marker at the bottom of the culture dish facilitate positioning of the cells
  • Flat, optically clear polystyrene surfaces for distortion-free microscopic visualization of cells
  • Uniform surface chemistry created by vacuum-gas plasma treatment promotes cell attachment
  • Nonpyrogenic
  • Sterilized by gamma irradiation
  • Packaged in peel-open, medical-style bags
  • Crystal-grade virgin polystyrene

Question:

What does the TC-treated in the product name mean?

Wenjng
05-Nov-2024

Answer:

TC-treated means Tissue Cultured to treat the surface, improving the hydrophilicity of the polystyrene (PS) surface by means of corona discharge or gas plasma, improving the adhesion of the proteins required for cell adhesion to help cells adhere to the wall.

Question:

I want to grow suspended cells, which surface should I use?

Wenjng
05-Nov-2024

Answer:

Suspension cells do not have the need for cell adhesion, and generally use untreated surface culture consumables. Suspended cells can also be cultured on the TC treated surface, but depending on the state and type of cells, some cells may appear to adhere to the wall.

Question:

I want to be coated with extracellular matrix. Which surface culture consumables should I use?

Wenjng
05-Nov-2024

Answer:

You can choose a culture vessel with an untreated surface to self-coat the extracellular matrix. Of course, in this case, TC treatment surface utensils can also be used.

Question:

The cell culture bottle/dish I purchased is not vacuum-packed, the bag looks loose, is there a quality problem?

Wenjng
05-Nov-2024

Answer:

The cell culture consumables are not vacuum-packed and are only manually pumped for ease of transport, so there are differences. In addition, the temperature and air pressure in different regions will also have an impact on the tightness of the package. If there is no air leakage in the package and the lid is not removed from the product, it will not affect the sterile performance and product quality of the product, please use it with confidence. If the package is damaged and leaky or the lid is coming off the product, take a photo and file a complaint through your distributor, taking care to include a photo of the product's outer box. When you receive the goods, please carefully confirm whether the outer box is damaged or deformed.

Question:

I can't use a package of culture supplies in one experiment. How should I keep it?

Wenjng
05-Nov-2024

Answer:

We cannot guarantee the sterility of the products after opening, so it is recommended that you store them in a sterile environment, control the ambient temperature and humidity, and avoid light/ultraviolet irradiation.

Question:

Culture flask/dish/plate, cells do not stick to the wall, is it a product quality problem?

Wenjng
05-Nov-2024

Answer:

here are many factors that cause cell non-adherence, such as medium composition and pH, culture environment, digestive manipulation, cell type, cell generation, and so on. If you have been using the same product number to culture the same cell line for a long time and the cells are normally attached to the wall before but are not attached to the wall now, it is recommended that you record the batch number of the product used in both cases in time, and repeat the parallel experiment, that is, use the same source of cells to culture on the two batches of consumables respectively (pay attention to the use of the same source of media). Culture in the same incubator to determine the main cause of cell non-adherence.

Question:

The color of the culture bottle/dish/plate I bought this time is more yellow than that of last time, is it because of product quality?

Wenjng
05-Nov-2024

Answer:

Different batches of plastic consumables may turn yellow after irradiation sterilization, which is a normal phenomenon.
