Product details
Collagen IV is the main component of the basement membrane and provides the main structural support for the extracellular matrix. When the network structure of type IV collagen is formed, it can provide a scaffold for the assembly of laminin, nestin, heparan sulfate proteoglycan and other basement membrane components. Type IV collagen serves as a substrate for the growth of epithelial, endothelial, muscle, and nerve cells. Collagen regulates cell growth, differentiation, adhesion and tissue formation. It can be used to promote cell adhesion and extension, cell differentiation and nerve axon growth, promote PC12 cell proliferation, study the effect of type IV collagen on cell behavior, and cell adhesion experiment.
