Microplate sealing films and foils are single-use adhesive covers designed to safeguard well contents against leakage, contamination, and evaporation during assay processing, incubation, or storage. These products come in a variety of materials, each tailored for specific applications such as PCR/qPCR, cell culture, ELISA, short-term and long-term storage, and fluorescence assays.
- Ideal for use with flat-top, raised-rim and non-skirted PCR plates.
- High optical clarity and low auto-fluorescence.
- Excellent chemical resistance (e.g. DMSO, Methanol, Acetonitrile)
- Film clarity allows optical analysis during Real-time PCR.
- Heat and cold resistant, recommended for temperatures from –80°C to 105°Cor -40℃ to +120℃
- Pressure-sensitive adhesive, no tacky residues that can interfere with optical analysis.
- Certified free of detectable DNase/RNase, human DNA and pyrogens. Contents non-cytotoxic
Helpful Tips:
- A roller or sealing paddle is highly recommended for use with this product to ensure consistent and adequate pressure is applied during the sealing process.
- A 10 minute or greater wait period before thermal cycling increases the film-to-plate bond
