TC-treated means Tissue Cultured to treat the surface, improving the hydrophilicity of the polystyrene (PS) surface by means of corona discharge or gas plasma, improving the adhesion of the proteins required for cell adhesion to help cells adhere to the wall.

You can choose a culture vessel with an untreated surface to self-coat the extracellular matrix. Of course, in this case, TC treatment surface utensils can also be used.

A cell culture bottle with a sealed lid provides a closed cell culture environment. If you need to connect to the air in the incubator, you need to loosen the cap slightly after the culture bottle is placed in the incubator to allow air to enter. Also, when taking out, you need to tighten the cap before taking out. The cap with filter membrane itself has a breathable function, and the filter membrane can prevent microbial contamination, so the cap can be tightened directly into the incubator when in use, but it should be noted that the filter membrane on the cap cannot be wet, and the wet filter membrane cannot ensure the passage of gas.

Taking T25 as an example, it refers to a cell culture bottle with a growth surface area of 25 cm2, which corresponds to different product numbers according to the type of bottle cap and different culture surfaces.

We recommend a medium dosage of 0.2-0.3mL/cm2.

The cell culture consumables are not vacuum-packed and are only manually pumped for ease of transport, so there are differences. In addition, the temperature and air pressure in different regions will also have an impact on the tightness of the package. If there is no air leakage in the package and the lid is not removed from the product, it will not affect the sterile performance and product quality of the product, please use it with confidence. If the package is damaged and leaky or the lid is coming off the product, take a photo and file a complaint through your distributor, taking care to include a photo of the product's outer box. When you receive the goods, please carefully confirm whether the outer box is damaged or deformed.

We cannot guarantee the sterility of the products after opening, so it is recommended that you store them in a sterile environment, control the ambient temperature and humidity, and avoid light/ultraviolet irradiation.

Here are many factors that cause cell non-adherence, such as medium composition and pH, culture environment, digestive manipulation, cell type, cell generation, and so on. If you have been using the same product number to culture the same cell line for a long time and the cells are normally attached to the wall before but are not attached to the wall now, it is recommended that you record the batch number of the product used in both cases in time, and repeat the parallel experiment, that is, use the same source of cells to culture on the two batches of consumables respectively (pay attention to the use of the same source of media). Culture in the same incubator to determine the main cause of cell non-adherence.

Different batches of plastic consumables may turn yellow after irradiation sterilization, which is a normal phenomenon.

Suspension cells do not have the need for cell adhesion, and generally use untreated surface culture consumables. Suspended cells can also be cultured on the TC treated surface, but depending on the state and type of cells, some cells may appear to adhere to the wall.
